In Sanskrit, the word satsang means “in the company of truth.” Hailing from an ancient lineage of teachers of Aghor Yoga in India, Babaji leads students in sadhana (spiritual practice) and seva (selfless service); he says they are the two bookends of a meaningful life. Babaji bridges ancient, sacred teachings with modern life, in a practical “real world” way. Babaji will give a talk and answer questions about personal experiences with yoga, meditation and spiritual awareness. Babaji rarely visits Los Angeles, spending most of his time at Sonoma Ashram in Northern California, and in India, working with his Aghor Foundation, which supports social initiatives, primarily for women and children in need of housing, food, education and healthcare.
